Scorchio!!!!!!!

After the exhausting social whirl of yesterday, Emma slept fairly well. Two short feeds during the night and one in the morning.
Helen & Emma walked to the last of the Post-natal groups to discuss 'parenting issues'. We were told discipline techniques to prevent our little darlings from turning into little horrors!! Should be useful for Dave...
Emma was as good as gold all morning - conked out in the pushchair in the searing heat. We got to sample the delights of the Clevedon Town Centre public loos baby changing room. A dizzying array of 1990's toys and posters surrounded us to keep the little one quiet!

The quiet did not last. Emma became very hot & bothered so Helen & Leila used the 'Tummy Tub' bath to cool Emma down. As pictured, it started with smiles & ended with screams!!
Helen invested in a paddling pool to help us all cool down. Emma had a splash with her legs whilst sitting on our laps. She loved this and was full of smiles and splashes!!
Dave finished his wine-making by squashing the rhubarb with his fancy gadget, and putting the plum juice into 3 demi-johns to burp away contendedly!

A lovely meal was had in the garden coutesy of Daves chef skills. Plump chicken breasts stuffed with sage, feta cheese, mushroom, tomato and wrapped in lovely bacon. Yum-yum!!!
