Emma had 6 different vaccines injected on Wednesday. Lucky girl! What didn't help was her Daddy trying to poison her in the morning. Instead of adding four scoops of feed to 120ml pre-measured water, I put the powder in first then made the drink up to 120ml. It was stronger than it should have been and it didn't agree with Emma at all. She drank all of it, then 10 minutes later was sick all over me in my dressing gown. Then promptly fell asleep. Helen fed her an hour later, then she was sick on Helen. I gave her another ounce of formula after an hour, and she held that down until we got to the surgery for the jabs, when she was sick again. The doctors and nurses were reassuring about how normal vomiting is in children, especially when starting bottle feeding. All I had wanted to do was give Helen a lie in! That was the last time she was properly sick.

She did get herself in a pickle at Helen's parents the next day when she dirtied an entire outfit with an explosive poo. She ended up needing a bath, so into the sink she went

!

We've had the plaque back from the framers and now mounted it on the wall. We put it on a blue painted wall at first, but it looked all wrong so we went for our beige wall in the end... Helen and Leila had a massive tidy of our house on Friday, getting the place looking immaculate. They came across some clothes of Emma's, and some hand me downs from her cousins.
On thursday Helen met the postnatal group at the Little Harp pub. The stripy baby gro was worn by Helen as a baby, made by Leila & the little dog design made by Rob. Not in bad nick for a 29 year old baby gro!! The post natal group were impressed with the funky 70's stripes!!
Emma is focusing very well now and is even able to reach towards objects. She loves making her Tommee Tippee Tortoise crunch when she brushes it with her hands.
