Snowy Portsmouth

Hello all - above is a pic of Emma wearing her Grampa's hat.

We spent the weekemd with friends in Fareham - Helen, Stephen , Alex & baby Lucy. On the Sunday morning there was thick snow. We were unsure how deep the snow was...

So we kitted Emma up (apologies for the Arsenal top..)

And she tested the depth & crunchiness of the snow!!

We made 2 snowmen

Complete with carrot nose, stone eyes & a scarf.

That afternoon one snowman got a rakish hat.

We visited Bryony in Poertsmouth on Sunday. She was in the middle of a big decorating job, and reported later that she did all the wallpapering herself in about 2 days. What a woman!!

Bryony taught Emma the basics of chess.

Bryony also gave us a rendition on her accordion - very impressive. Our attempts sounded more like an asthmatic donkey!!

Here is Emma & her Daddy with Alex up to high jinks.

Emma the builder - can she fix it? yes she can!!!

On sunday we also were taught how to make proper pasta by Stephen.

Emma fell in love with baby Lucy.

On tuesday Gramma & Gramps managed to find a slide & trampoline for Emma for the grand price of £5!! We think she might like the trampolene...maybe...
