Watching Shags

Helen started coming down with a cold at the weekend. Its moved onto her chest in the last few days so now when she lies down it tickles and stops her sleeping. I was able to give her a nice long lie in today by giving Emma porridge and pureed apple for breakfast and swede and sweet potato puree for lunch. She prefers the sweeter dishes still! The first photo is a new face she does when she is hungry it normally is combined with some shouting!

Here's some of the games we played in the morning - hiding in a box!

Jangling the octopus...

And we did some more walking. Then Emma was loaded into the push chair and I took her to feed the ducks. Emma had a slight misunderstanding with who should be eating the bread...

Our walk took us to the Marine Lake where two shags had come to do some fishing. We threw some bread which the blooming seagulls snatched and got some pictures of the shags.

In the afternoon, Helen and I went to buy a christmas tree in Tickenham. At some point between the shags and the christmas tree my wedding ring fell off. I've retraced my foot steps but so far no sign of it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some one will find it...
