North Petherton re-visited.

Monday started with a slight panic - we were down to 3 of the biodegradable nappies & hoped that the 'Rejuvenate' shop would be open on a Monday. (Lots of shops on Hill Road close on Mondays). Our luck was in and Emma can now poo & wee to her heart's content!!

Today myself, (Helen) & sister Becky went down to visit Nanna in North Petherton. Emma was so well behaved all day. Lots of smiles and loads of gurgles. Her 'a-goo' and burbling sounds were on overdrive with all her admirers!!

Here are Nannas neighbours Roger & Di - they had a very calming effect on Emma as she was long without a feed at this point. Roger & Di were smitten, and are now officially un-official uncle & aunt!!

We went out for a meal in Bridgwater that was scrumptious. I would add that Emma was a dream and sat calmly in her pushchair throughout the whole scoff. Eating two-handed...now there's a novel concept!

We then went to Sainsbury's for a shopping spree in 'Tu'. I am not keen to wear all last years tent-like maternity clothes, but can't yet squeeze into my pre-pregnancy autumn clothes. The word 'diet' has been whispered in our house.

Emma's Great-Nanna had a good cuddle and played bouncing on lap. Emma loved this and smiled & gurgled lots. She is now focussing so well on objects & her hand/eye co-ordination is coming along. Last night she was grabbing the teddies on her cot string and pushing them backwards and forwards.

She is also rolling onto her left side now - need to keep her pinned down when changing!

Here is a picture of Becky & Rob's cute kitten, Mrs Fenchurch. ahhh......
