Bryony and Andrew's Wedding

We were lucky enough to be invited to Bryony and Andrew's wedding on the 12th July in Portsmouth.  Bryony is Helen's friend from school days.  She and Andrew work(ed) in museums in Portsmouth so it was fitting that they got married in The Square Tower in Portsmouth and had their reception at King Henry VIII's Southsea Castle.  Both venues were amazing and there were some wonderfully individual touches to the day.  The curry reception dinner and Bryony's stockings spring to mind immediately!

We stayed at Wallmead the night before to break our journey up.  Here we are all ready to go. We've still got some Mallorcan sun in our cheeks!
Just married! Awww.

Being driven away in an American jeep!

Emma was pretty in pink.
What a lovely pair of girls I've got.
Emma hates chocoloate(!)
Emma with the girls.  The bridesmaids had fairy wings.

The farm set was an excellent distraction and Emma loves playing with Kath.
Andrew attempts to shoot someone at the reception with his fingers.
Emma attempting to shoot someone with her camera.  These were fun cameras that Bryony put on the table.  They squirted water. Emma loved them!
Lee and Kath enjoying the evening light.  What a lovely rainbow!
The perfectly iced wedding cake.  And some lovely Battenburg cake too. Wow.

And how's this for a sunset over the Portsmouth docks to end the evening?

Congratulations Bry and Andrew.  All the best for the future as Mr & Mrs Whitmarsh.
