Emma in the frost

Hello all - here is a long-awaited Blog entry! The first 'photo was taken at Wallmead Farm, the day after Janes' 40th birthday party. What a bash that was!

Here is Emma snug in her new sheepskin coat from Granny & Grandad Shallcross, exploring the farm!

Early experience of being a Hell's Angel!

Cows. In a shed.

Emma carrying her bike (!?)

Billy & a friend playing 'Khet' next to Janes birthday cake. This was a 3-tier scrumptious cake, made entirely by Lin. What a feat!

Granny & Emma at stubbles feeding the ducks.

Daring escapades.

Emma & Mummy on Wain's Hill with Gramma.

Close up!

Below are photos of a lovely day out in Wells with Auntie Becky (official title from Emma is Bet-Be!), Gramma & Mummy.

We went to look at the cathedral & the very friendly ducks.

Here is Emma looking angelic after chasing after ducks with a large stick.

Above is a fab playground in the centre of Wells that Auntie Bet-be also enjoyed!

Emma is quite the book-worm now. The book above is one of her favorites & was kindly given by Mr & Mrs C.

Above are our valentines puddings (the meringues are heart-shaped). Auntie Bet-be & Helen had a fun afternoon making there for their respective husbands.

Above is Emma not far from home, looking forward to terrorising some ducks.

Above is our cat Tigger. He keeps sneaking into Emma's cot for a kip. We would call that sleeping with the enemy!!

Swans...ahhh.

Tea party with the tea set that Emma was kindly given by Jane & Jasper for Christmas.

A stroll along Marine Lake with Da-da.

The above train set is about (cough) 30 years old (given away my age - eek!) Emma loves it, and certain other family members do too!

Stroll out with Da-da.

Above was at Nannas for an earlt birthday celebration. Auntie Bet-be shows Emma the finer intricacies of the train set.

Emma having fun with Nanna.

We set off for a long walk around the local woods. Uncle Rob & Auntie Bet-be were the main entertainers!

Rob - eh-hem - enjoying the train set.

Uncle Rob giving Emma a lift.

Last Saturday Auntie Bet-be, Uncle Rob, Helen & Emma were invited for lunch at G-G's. Emma helped to fill in some diary dates.

Emma loves G-G's walking stick - she sits on it & pretends that it is a horse. Giddy-up!

Da-da took Emma off for a morning so Mum could do some revision. The trip started with a trek up Crook's Peak.

Emma making friends at the top.

Some rambling.

Da-da & Emma then got in the car & headed off to Burnham-on-Sea. Dave's dad went to school here as a young lad!

Emma off-roading.

Early gambling.

A trip out to the Marine Lake.

Emma loves finding rock pools & throwing pebbles in.

Tigger was hoping for a story & to get his nappy changed too.

After bathtime we dry & dress Emma downstairs with a hot drink & the 'In The Night Garden' burbling away in the background.

Emma's artistic streak (or splats).

Emma found Mummy's handbag & a packet of chocolate drops. You can see the end-result. Emma tries to look nonchelent!

On Mothering Sunday we had a big dinner at our place with Gramma, Gramps, Nanna, & G-G. Da-da did all the cooking & washing-up - what a star!!

Some tickling & chucking up into the air!

Raspberry time.

Gramps having a tickle with Emma!
