After pressure from certain sources, here is the much awaited Blog update!
A great deal has happened since the last entry. The photo above was taken on Martins 70th birthday party at The Emblems in Fovant. A fabulous day, although Emma was not keen on the savoury dish I was trying to tempt her with. The above face is very common now, and never ceases to make us laugh.
On Saturday David was at a stag do for his friend, also called Dave. Emma & I met up with my parents, Rob & Leila for a very lovely tapas meal at 'The Cellar' on
We went back home in the gorgeous February sun via the ice-cream parlour & the children's playground. Emma enjoyed some of our ice-cream, although the enjoyment was more visible once it had warmed up in her mouth. She is pictured above gnawing on the end of an ice-cream cone.
She appeared completely unmoved by the swing, but this may well be linked to the hour long nap she had on returning home.
Emma is now completely on solids - two or three course for each meal!! The battle of the milk has ended, as we have given up! She still has a sweet tooth & loves custard above all else.
Emma is starting to enjoy lying on her front, but has yet to master controlled movement. She is able to push herself backwards by sliding - this is especially effective on Mum & Dad's wooden floor. She is starting to dig her knees into the ground & lift herself up onto her hands & kness, but if not retreating, remains stationary.
Emma has not had a feed from me for the last 3 nights. The end of an era!! On one of those nights she was mildly poisonous, but otherwise a very contented girl.
We hope that this Blog entry will satisfy certain family members who have pointed out the recent lack of any updates - you know of whom I speak!!!!!
