Mid October Sun

We've had some lovely weather this weekend. Helen, Leila, Emma and I just got back from walk across Clevedon, starting at The Old Inn, where we had a super Sunday roast, then back via Clevedon Craft Centre where we had a look at jewellery and greeting cards.

Luckily for us we were passing Tescos just before it closed at 4pm, so we could pop in and change Emma. Although we'd got all her changing stuff, the nappies had run out!

The weekend started with work for me on Saturday morning, and shopping for Helen in The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. She got Emma the chocolate brown body shirt in the pictures that goes with her skirty dungarees I found last week. She looks very Autumnal. In the afternoon, I took Emma out in the papoose around Marshall's Field and Poet's Walk. She shed a bootie by the tidal defences, which we found 30 minutes later whilst retracing footsteps. Some kindly soul had put it on a park bench.

That evening we played games with Rob and Leila and ate steak and proper chip-shop chips!

Here are some pictures from Sunday morning. Helen got up first at 6.30am after a couple of night time feeds. I got up after 9am and took her until midday while Helen caught up on sleep. We read some books, then promenaded along the sea front and got lots of adoration from pensioners enjoying a stroll.

After we got back from the walk, Emma enjoyed a feed and afterwards was full of smiles!

She is now playing with her toys with gusto. Her hand eye co-ordination is getting very good. She can spin the rattly rotating toys and has started grabbing glasses and putting fingers in my nose and mouth!
