A Clevedon Sunset

Hello Readers,

I'm still new to this so I'm going to start by reporting everything that happens, then gradually less and less as time goes on. That's what I've always done with diaries, so enjoy the blog whilst it lasts!

Helen,
Leila, Emma & I went out to watch the sun go down on Clevedon seafront last night. We had lovely fish and chips at The Little Harp Inn and sat out in the beer garden. It started getting cold at 9pm so we headed back. Here's the sky as we were leaving, we don't know the couple, but they seemed to be enjoying the sunset! Last night was a bit fragmented with Emma. Helen gave her her last feed at 11pm, but finished at midnight, then needed changing, then needed changing AGAIN! Helen fielded the mess. Emma was up again at 3.30am. This time after Helen fed her I took over winding duties, then her nappy needed changing, then it needed changing again (4 nappies in one night, I ask you?!) and she was finally ready for sleep at 4.30ish, except by then she thought she was hungry again. Through a combination of comfort and swaddling I calmed her down again and she was asleep within 30 minutes. She woke up again at 7am for a feed but went down easily after that. The majority of my sleep was between 11pm and 3am, then 5 and 8.30am I think! Which added together isn't bad I suppose.

Today we have a visit from John, Helen and Tim (my brother, sister-in-law and nephew) and then we have Helen's family round for a meal and get together in the evening.
